Spring Floor Campaign
Start date: 10/14/15                            End date: 12/31/16
$26.00 pledged of $8,000 goal*
*any extra funds will be used for new equipment
The Gymnastics Spring Floor is used to improve bounce, and reduce impact from landing after a stunt. This means a much safer way to perform maneuvers. All our activities can be performed on spring floors. It provides a much more comfortable approach to acrobatics and gymnastics. As you know last year we started the acrobatics gymnastics competitive program. Our students became state and regional champions. Even making it to the Nationals and achieving 2nd place. Last year they practiced on half the size of a competitive gymnastic floor without the spring installment, but then they competed in the USA gymnastics sanctioned events on regulation sized gymnastic spring floor. It is a big challenge to adjust to different size and surface especially during a competition. Now we have a much larger facility for kids to practice their skill but also we need the spring floor because it is an important part of competitive gymnastics and tumbling training. This will benefit both the competitive and recreational programs.

Our goal is $8,000 for 36' by 36'  Spring Floor with perimeter springs, Vinyl Floor Skirting, and shipping. Foam Flooring not included in order because we already possess it. For additional information please check: http://www.theamericangym.com/Floors.htm?cat=34
Your pledge will help us maintain the quality, affordability and accessibility of our programs and will make a difference for kids and teens in our community!
